A wonderful weirdness that came from animation frames

I decided to see the mess of lines that each drawing layered on one another would look like. I've been working on the animation in layers so I can draw the in-between poses.

I did it to demonstrate how close the frames were in my first attempt, and to explain why it might look choppy,

I also tried it with my second attempt. The frames are further apart which makes the action appear faster and it runs more smoothly (but not perfectly smooth). As I mentioned this was meant as a demonstration but I really like the effect that they create. It gives a sense of movement (that I didn't expect) without the image needing to actually move.
